When Betty arrives at the bookshop, she first switches on the computer and answers emails. Then, if there aren’t many people in the bookshop, she reads some of the bestsellers. In the afternoon she helps her mum order some new books.
Betty likes her job because lots of people come to the bookshop every day. She likes talking to them and telling them about new books they have. She works hard and doesn’t earn a lot of money but she thinks it’s a nice job.

Are you going on holiday and can’t take your dog with you? Don’t worry! Bring it to our hotel. It will be safe and comfortable with us.
Remember to bring your dog to our hotel before 4 p.m. so that it can get to know the other dogs and the place it is going to stay in. You should also bring your dog’s bed and health book with you. You don’t need to bring any of your pet’s favourite toys or pet food. We will serve your dog tasty meals of cooked chicken and red meat.
At Christmas and during the holiday months (June, July, August) you will have to pay 10%
more for your dog’s stay in our hotel.
