Die Aufgabenstellung für das vorliegende Forschungsvorhaben lautete.: Die Erfahrung der deutschên Werften zur Entwicklung einer
Formfamilie für den Typ des schnellen Frachtschiffes zu nutzen, die Ausgangsformen für diese Farnilie in Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Werften und den Versuchsanstalten auszuwählen und schlieB-lich diese Ausgangsformen in einer Weise zu verzerren, daI3 ihre HauptfOrmparameter bestimte, noch festzulegende Werte haben. Für jede so entwickelte Forrnvariante waren der Linienril3, eine
Aufmal3tabelle und em Forrnkurvenblatt anzufertigen.
Für die ForminterpOlation und Formverzerrung Verfahren zu ent-wickein ufld zu programmieren. Die Programe soilten so
be-schaffen sein, daI3 mit ihrer Hilfe und mit einem nachgeschalte-ten Kurvenblattprogramm sowohi aus der Forrnfamilie als auch aus anderen Ausgangsformen Varianten abgeleitet und Kurvenblatt-daten berechnet werden können.
Die Arbeiten wurden in der Hamburgischen Schiffbau Versuchsanstalt (HSVA) im Auftrag des Forschungszentrums des Deutschen Schiffbaus (FDS) durch-gefUhrt. Sie wurden von der Arbeitsgemeinschaft IndustriellerForschungs-vereinigungen (AIF) durch einen Zuschul3 aus Mittein des Bundesministers für Wirtschaft dankernswerterweise unterstUtzt.
Der erste Schritt bestand in einer statistischen Auswertung der in den letzten Jahren in der HSVA geschleppten Schiffè. Ferner wurde auf Linien-risse und Ergebnisse anderer Versuchsanstalten zurückgegriffen, die der HSVA dankernswerterweise von den Werften zur Verfügung gesteilt wurden. Der hier vorliegende Band, Tell B, enthlt die Linienrisse, Aufrnaf3tabel-Ten und Kurvenbltter für acht Grundformen verschiedener Vo1ligkeit Beim Entwurf dieser Linien wurde nicht so sehr auf geringen Widerstand als vielmehr auf gUnstige Propulsionseigenschaften geachtet. Wie dabei im einzelnen vorgegangen wurde, ist im ersten Band, Tell A, geschi1dert Dart wurde auch aligemein die Funktion der angefertigten Programme be schrieben und an einem Beispiel gezeigt, wie aus einer gegebeflen Aus-gangsform elne Formvariante abzuieiten ist.
Die Hauptformparameter (Längen/Breiten-Verhältnis, Breiten/Tiefgangs-Verhältnis, Volligkeit, Hauptspantvölligkeit, Schwerpunktslage und Volumen-Längenkoeffizient) aller acht Grundformen sind in nachstehender Tabelle zusámmengefal3t. Diese Parameter sind, um hufiges Umb1ttern zu vermeiden, jeweils noch einmal in der linken oberen Ecke der entspre-chenden Tabellen unci Spantenrisse verrnerkt.
Eine einheitliche Beschriftung in englischer Sprache wurde gewäh1t, da beabsichtigt war, die Programme auch routinemäl3ig für Industriever-suche einzusetzen.
Die Tabellen 1 bis einschlie6lich 16
enthalten die Wasserlinienaufmal3e dimensionslos gemacht mit Hilfe der
halben Schiffsbreite. Die jeweils ungeraden Tabellennummern gelten
für die Vorschiffe, die geraden Tabellennummern für die Hinterschiffe.
Auch die Wasserlinienhbhen und Spantpositibnen sind dimensiônslos ange-geben, und zwar als Verh1tniswert zum Tiefgang bzw. als Verhältnis des Abstandes vom hinteren Lot zur Lnge zwischen den Loten.
Die Tabellen 17 bis einschlief3lich 32
enthalten die Sentaufmal3e, ebenfalls dimensionslos gernacht mit Hilfe der halben Schiffsbreite. Die einzelnen Senten sind durch Buchstaben gekenn-zeichnet. Einheitlich für alle acht Grundformen wurde die gleiche An-ordnung der Sënten gewählt (siehe Abb.. 1 bis 8).
Die Tabelle 33
gibt die Stevenaufma6e, wobei zu bemerken ist, daB die Hinterstevenkon-tur für alle acht Grundformen identisch ist. Auch diese Aufmaf3e sind
dimensionslos angegeben, und zwar als Prozent der Lange zwischen den Loten.

sind die Flächen der einzelnen Spanten für alle acht Grundformen ange-geben. Sie sind auf die Fläche BT bezogen, so da6 diese Werte für den Hauptspant mit der Hauptspantvölligkeit Ubereinstimmen.
