D.M. Krantz Meervoudige orders uitleveren
Masters thesis, Report 91.3.LT.2874, Transport Technology, Logistic Engineering.
By means of an introduction to nv. E.C.I. Vianen and to the Storage and Distribution-Center O.D.C., a description will be given of the system that deals with the delivery of multiple orders. Next a qualitative- and quantitative description of the current system will follow. With the qualitative description some less sufficient conditions will turn up. Eventually, the line of thought to a suggestion for improvement will be given.
In the conclusion a choice between two models is suggested. Model 1 departs from the equipment that is currently available. Therefore model 1 is considered the inexpensive version. Model 2 departs from the thought that identification of orders and parcels should take place automatically. And therefore model 2 is considered to be the expensive one.
