Wyznaczono zespolone formy drgań własnych i charakterystyki częstotliwościowe.
Opracowano semiaktywny algorytm sterowania drganiami belki.
The subject of the study was to investigate the dynamic properties of four three-layer cantilever beams filled with magnetorheological (MR) fluid. The beam was made of two outer layers made of aluminium. The space between the two layers was sealed with silicone rubber. Two different structures of the beams were studied. Two beams were fully treated with different type of MR fluid. Next two beams with five equal segments were partially treated with MR fluid respectively: the first segment and third segment from the mounting.
The magnetic field acting on the beam was generated by the electromagnet. In the first stage of the study free vibrations for a variety of settings magnetic field strength and its location were recorded. The effect of the magnetic field strength and its location on characteristics: natural frequency and damping ratio of the first mode of vibration was investigated. In the second stage the beam model was developed - finite element. The complex modes and frequency responses were calculated. The influence of nonhomogeneous magnetic field interacting the ferromagnetic particles suspended within the carrier oil were modeled by adding a negative- stiffness spring.
The semiactive vibration control algorithm of the beam was determined. One approach to vibration reduction of the beam was that based on cyclic changes of the beam's stiffness that its potential energy should be reduced in each cycle. The effectiveness of the developed algorithm was tested by simulation for free and forced vibrations of the beams and verified on the experimental test rig.
The results obtained in this thesis were collected in the form of conclusions and closing remarks stating the pros and cons of the actual real system and its model.
