Struktura i własności materiałów inżynierskich na uzupełnienia
protetyczne układu stomatognatycznego wytwarzane metodami
przyrostowymi i ubytkowymi polski
Structure and properties of the engineering materials for prosthetic
restorations of the stomatognathic system produced by additive and loss
technologies
The aim of the PhD thesis is a comparative study of the structure and properties of chosen engineering materials used in dental prosthetic restorations produced an alternative by a loss method by milling on CNC milling machine and additive selective laser sintering method of solid and porous elements using CAD/CAM techniques, and the development of original technology used for the fabrication of dental prosthetic restorations made from powders of titanium and Ti6A14V alloy by selective laser sintering. The methodology for calculating engineering prosthetic resto-rations as computational simulation methods for predicting the behaviour of such prosthetic restorations in application conditions. The proposed research thesis has been proved, however, engineering materials used for dental prosthetic restorations produced additively by selective laser sintering of titanium and Ti6A14V alloy powders using individual CAD/CAM techniques, show the structure of a solid, without pores and defects providing mechanical properties not lower than those displayed by means of the corresponding shape and geometric form loss technology using CAD/ CAM techniques by milling on the CNC machine from solid discs of Co-Cr alloy, ZrO2 ceramic and Ti6A14V alloy. Technological conditions were selected, and original technology of the elements used in dental prosthetic restorations produced from Ti6A14V alloy and pure Ti powders by selective laser sintering after appropriate CAD/CAM methods were worked out.
