APOSTOLSTWO ŻYWEGO RÓŻAŃCA

Apostolstwo Żywego Różańca składa się z grup 20 osobowych tworzących tzw. Róże Różańcowe.

Osoba należąca do danej Róży codziennie przez miesiąc, modląc się na różańcu, rozważa jedną, wcześniej wyznaczoną tajemnicę różańca w intencjach: parafialnej oraz papieskiej (ogólna i misyjna).

Po miesiącu (w pierwszą niedzielę każdego miesiąca) następuje zmiana tajemnicy różańcowej na następną oraz intencji papieskiej. Dzięki temu dwadzieścia osób tworzących Różę codziennie rozważa wszystkie tajemnice różańca świętego. Jest to jakby wieniec różany składany u stóp Królowej.

Bardzo istotne jest to, że wszyscy członkowie Róży modlą się w tej samej intencji, która jest również zmieniana co miesiąc.

Aby młodzież na kontynencie afrykańskim miała dostęp do edukacji i pracy we własnej ojczyźnie.

LIVING ROSARY APOSTOLATE

The Living Rosary is a group of 20 people who commit to pray and meditate on One Mystery of the Holy Rosary every day for a month. Each member is assigned a different decade from which to start.

Together, they pray the entire rosary united in their prayer intentions.

Every First Sunday of the month, each member of the Group will start on the next Mystery.

The purpose of the Living Rosary - appease the wrath of God on the sinful world through the intercession of the Mother of God; pray for God`s blessing for the Church and evangelization; and spreading the faith, to restore and strengthen faith in the hearts of the people and sustain the conversion of sinners.

The intentions of a Living Rosary for the month of September The Pope’s monthly intention - The intention of evangelization:

General:

For young people on the African continent to have access to education and work in their own country.

Parish/ Local intentions:

(given every month by the priest leading the Living Rosary Group).

1. For the development of the sanctuary and school building.

2. For a good place for a Polish school.

3. For peace in the world.

4. For the protection of the Mother of God for the members of a living rosary.

5. For God's blessing and the development of pastoral groups at our sanctuary.

6. For the sick and the suffering members of our shrine, healing and care of the Blessed Mother.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation to all volunteers who helped with our Polish Kielbasa Fest last Sunday.

Thanks to the committee chairmen and chairwomen who worked in the planning; to the people who worked so hard and long in the kitchen, especially Shawn & Margaret Santerre;

and to all who worked this past Sunday, inside and out, serving and working the various tables, and to all our parishioners and friends who supported our Festival endeavor.

We are grateful to the many donors who contributed prizes to our Big Raffle as well as those who donated cash, baked goods, tonic and water.

Everyone who attended had a wonderful time.

We are still tallying up our income and expenses and will let you know soon how much profit we realized from the Festival.

Today’s Gospel - Mark 8:27-35

We must give up our lives for the sake of Jesus Christ and for His Gospel. This is so clear in today’s Gospel passage from Saint Mark. Yet none of us wants to give up his or her life. Only when we begin to know Jesus and to believe in Him totally and when we begin to understand His Good News, His Gospel, will we begin to desire to give our life completely for Him and the Gospel. So, the challenge is always to know Jesus and to allow Him to become the Lord of our life.

We want to become like Peter and be able to say with complete faith: you are the Christ! …

God is asking of us a faith that is willing to act for others, a faith which invites us to sacrifice our own life for the lives of others, a faith that is strong in belief but equally strong in doing good to others.

Just as Jesus was willing to give up His life so that others could live, we also must have that kind of faith. We must be willing to walk in our lives and Jesus walked in His life: love of the Father expressed in love of others. May the Holy Spirit guide each of us today so that we may clearly see the path of Jesus in our lives and have the courage and strength to walk in His ways.

The Lord God grants His graces in two ways: by inspiration and by enlightenment. If we ask God for a grace, He will give it to us; but let us be willing to accept it. And in order to accept it, self-denial is needed. Love does not consist in words or feelings, but in deeds. It is an act of the will; it is a gift; that is to say, a giving. The reason, the will, the heart – these three faculties must be exercised during prayer. I will rise from the dead in Jesus, but first I must live in Him. If I do not separate myself from the Cross, then the Gospel will be revealed in me. Jesus in me makes up for all my deficiencies. His grace operates without ceasing. The Holy Trinity grants me Its life abundantly, by the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Three Divine Persons live in me. When God loves, He loves with all His Being, with all the power of His Being. If God has loved me in this way, how should I respond – I, His spouse?

I am striving for sanctity, because in this way I shall be useful to the Church. I make constant efforts in practicing virtue. I try faithfully to follow Jesus. And I deposit this whole series of daily virtues – silent, hidden, almost imperceptible, but made with great love – in the treasury of God’s Church for the common benefit of souls. I feel interiorly as if I were responsible for all souls. I know very well that I do not live for myself alone, but for the entire Church...

Pan Bóg daje łaski dwoma sposobami: przez natchnienia i oświecenia. Jeżeli prosimy o łaskę, Bóg ją da, ale chciejmy ją przyjąć; ale aby ją przyjąć, trzeba zaparcia.

Miłość nie polega na słowach ani na uczuciach, ale na czynie. Jest to akt woli, jest to dar, czyli darowanie;

rozum, wolę, serce - te trzy władze musimy ćwiczyć w czasie modlitwy. Zmartwychwstanę w Jezusie, ale muszę wpierw w Nim żyć. Jeżeli nie rozłączę się z krzyżem, wtenczas okaże się we mnie Ewangelia. Wszystkie moje niedostatki uzupełnia Jezus we mnie - Jego łaska, która działa nieustannie. Trójca Święta udziela mi swego życia w obfitości przez dar Ducha Świętego. Trzy Boskie Osoby we mnie mieszkają. Bóg, jeżeli kocha, to całym sobą, całą mocą swej istoty. Jeżeli mnie tak Bóg ukochał, cóż ja na to - ja, oblubienica Jego?

Staram się o świętość, bo przez to będę pożyteczną Kościołowi. Robię ustawiczne wysiłki w cnocie, staram się wiernie naśladować Jezusa, a ten szereg codziennych cnót cichych, ukrytych, prawie niedostrzegalnych, ale spełnianych z wielką miłością, składam do skarbca Kościoła Bożego na korzyść wspólną dusz. Czuję wewnętrznie, jakobym miała odpowiedzialność za wszystkie dusze, czuję dobrze, że żyję nie tylko dla siebie, ale [dla] całego Kościoła...

Dreams and plans for a new altar for our shrine have begun to be finalized. Within a short time, we were able to raise $ 40,000. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all Donors and

Sponsors for the financial and prayer support, so far.

God bless those who have made offerings and those who, on a weekly basis, pass them on for the reconstruction of the altar. I am grateful to those who, through spiritual and physical help, engage

in the development of our sanctuary and attract other kind people, institutions and companies to continue this work.

Before we set up our altar, however, we must: seal the holes in the masonry outside, remove the fungal spots at the presbytery and paint the walls by the presbytery.

We are in the process of looking for contractors and the costs of these works. I hope that soon we will have the information we need and we will raise funds for this purpose.

Zanim jednak postawimy nasz ołtarz musimy: uszczelnić dziury w murze na zewnątrz, usunąć plamy grzybiczne przy prezbiterium oraz wymalować ściany przy prezbiterium.

Jesteśmy w procesie poszukiwania wykonawców oraz kosztówtych prac. Mam nadzieję, że wkrótce będziemy operować potrzebnymi informacjami i zbierzemy fundusze na ten cel. Jeszcze raz dziękuję za
