Z wielką satysfakcją odnotowujemy, że Sędzia Sądu Najwyższego prof. dr hab. Lech Gardocki, wybitny karnista, uczony związany z Uniwersytetem Warszaw­ skim, wieloletni adwokat (do 1996 r.), członek Kolegium Redakcyjnego „Palestry", został powołany przez Prezydenta RP na stanowisko Pierwszego Prezesa Sądu Najwyższego.

Jesteśmy przekonani, że wszechstronna wiedza i zna­ ne, nam szczególnie dobrze, walory osobiste Pana Profesora sprzyjać będą umacnianiu autorytetu Sądu Najwyższego i całego wymiaru sprawiedliwości.

Serdecznie gratulujemy i życzymy gorąco Panu Prezesowi zrealizowania wszelkich zamierzeń, żywiąc jednocześnie nadzieję na dalszą współpracę z naszym pismem.
