of free vibrations as well. T h e know ledge o f a form o f free vibration an d o f eigenvalues o f driving system s is o f g reat im portance as regards harm onic function resp o n se o f the system. D efining o f free vibration frequencies m akes it possible to d eterm in e resonance regions w here dynam ic forces in kinem atic pairs of th e driving system exceed nom inal values. T h e re fo re it is necessary to aim at such a selection of design featu res ot the system th a t its free vibration frequencies be considerably different from frequencies of exciting forces resulting from ro tatio n al sp eed o f shafts, frequencies o f m eshings etc.
In g en eral, all design featu res of the driving system u n d er consideration have effect on a change o f eigenvalues o f this sytems. H ow ever, the influence o f som e featu res m ay be of vital im p o rtan ce. It is possible to evaluate th e influence o f p articu lar design featu res on eigenvalues (free vibration frequencies) of th e system w hen carrying out the sensitivity analysis. T h e p ro b lem resolves itselves into differentiation o f eigenvalues of a ch aracteris
tic m atrix fo r th e driving system and form ed from a m atrix o f th e stiffness and in ertia of this system . Thus, elem en ts o f this matrix are conditioned by design p a ra m e te rs o f the driving system being analysed.

T h e m atrices o f torsional stiffness and of inertia are sym m etric and have real elem en ts. T h e size o f th ese m atrices corresponds with a n u m b er o f degrees o f freedom o f the system u n d e r consideration. As regards the above problem Fox and K a p o o r have sta te d th e follow ing relationship for derivatives o f eigenvalues related to design p a ra m e te rs [1]

T h e relatio n sh ip (2) has b een used to d eterm in e the influence o f design p a ra m e te rs on eigenvalues o f a driving system o f coal sh e a re r’s gearheads. A kinem atic diagram o f this system is show n in figure 1. A dynam ic m odel with 13 degrees o f freed o m an d with p a ra m e te rs p re se n te d in table 1 hase b een accep ted for analysis [3],

T h e p re s e n te d m eth o d m akes it possible, w hen using num erical m ethod, to d eterm in e in a sim ple w ay derivatives o f eigenvalues in relation to design p a ra m e te rs an d thus to d e te rm in e th e sensitivity o f free vibration frequencies o f the driving system on design p a ra m e te rs o f th e system being analysed. O ptim ization o f design p a ra m e te rs can be the next stage o f analysis. It shall be its task to d eterm in e such values o f th ese p a ra m e te rs for which th e selected form s o f free vibration o f the driving system being analysed are ch aracterized by th e req u ired values.

Streszczenie
Z naczący wpływ na dynam ikę układów napędow ych m ają ich częstości, drgań sw obodnych. Z najo m o ść w artości tych częstości pozw ala na w yznaczenie obszarów rezonansow ych, dla których siły dynam iczne w p arach kinem atycznych układu p rz e k ra czają w artości nom inalne. Należy dążyć więc do takiego p rojektow ania układów napędow ych, aby ich częstości drgań swobodnych znacznie różniły się od częstości sił wymuszających, wynikających z prędkości w irow ania wałów, częstości zazębień itd. Na poszczególne częstości drgań swobodnych układu największy wpływ m ogą m ieć tylko niek tó re jeg o elem enty. O cen ę wpływu poszczególnych cech konstrukcyjnych na częstości sw obodne m ożna określić p rzeprow adzając analizę wrażliwości. Problem sprow adza się do w yznaczenia pochodnych w artości własnych w zględem p aram etró w konstrukcyjnych (2) [1] dla zagadnienia w łasnego (1). M acierze M i K są odpow iednio sym etrycznymi m acierzam i bezw ładności i sztywności skrętnej układu napędow ego. P rzedstaw iono przykładow e wyniki obliczeń pochodnych w artości własnych dla układu napędow ego głowicy kom bajnu węglowego (rys. 1). P aram etry m odelu dynam icznego o 13. stopniach sw obody zam ieszczono w tablicy 1 [3,4], W tablicy 2. przedstaw iono wszystkie częstości drgań sw obodnych tego układu napędow ego. W tablicy 3. przedstaw iono pochodne w artości własnych w zględem trzech p aram etró w m odelu dynam icznego, które miały największy wpływ na pierw szą częstość drgań swobodnych. O trzym ane wyniki m ożna spraw dzić m eto d ą przew idyw ania w artości własnych na podstaw ie zależności (4), gdzie

P rzedstaw iona m eto d a umożliwia wyznaczenie pochodnych w artości własnych w zględem pa ra m e tró w konstrukcyjnych, a tym samym określenie wrażliwości częstości drgań sw obodnych układu napędow ego na jego param etry konstrukcyjne.
