The re p o rt presented a t th e a n n u a l m e etin g of th e Association in O ctober, 1935, in d ic a te d t h a t th e year 1934-35 h a d been a record, th e to ta l incom e exceeding £13,000 fo r th e first tim e.

To do th is th e in d u s tria l incom e h a d been raised by extension of m em bership an d th e £300 r e ­ m a in in g to m ake up th e m inim um of £7,000 re q u ire d to e a rn g r a n t of £5,000 w as m ad e u p by a g ro u p of m em bers in a d d itio n to th e ir norm al subscriptions.
