The bending behaviour of a 4" Coflexip flexible flowline with a bending restrictor, has been solved with finite elements. Non-linear elastic material behaviour, large displacements, geometrical stiffness and geometrical non-linearity are taken into account.
Pretension and forced rotation will be the loading, leading to results concerning stress, curvature and deformation. Reports on Transport Engineering and Logistics (in Dutch)
