MISJA KONFERENCJI
Ku kreatywnej i innowacyjnej Europie.
Konferencja warszawska. 30 listopada – 2 grudnia 2006.
I
Polska powinna być widzialnym globalnie podmiotem myślenia o przyszłości Europy.
Tej Misji słuŜy Konferencja Warszawska. Konferencja skupia znakomite grono międzynarodowych ekspertów świata nauki, biznesu i polityki, którzy podejmą próbę odpowiedzi na fundamentalne pytanie czy Europa znajdzie nową ścieŜkę rozwoju, która pozwoli sprostać wymogom twardej konkurencji w układzie wielkiego kwartetu sceny globalnej XXI wieku : USA, Europa, Chiny, Indie.
II
Tą nową ścieŜką rozwoju jest kreatywność i innowacyjność widziane jako najwaŜniejszy motor rozwoju Europy XXI wieku. Konferencja miejmy nadzieję, będzie otwarciem nowego rozdziału w dyskusji nad teoria i praktyka Strategii Lizbońskiej, która wykazuje pewne objawy zmęczenia intelektualnego i pragmatycznego.
III
Konferencja jest elementem dorobku obecnego etapu rozwoju Unii Europejskiej realizowanego pod przewodnictwem Prezydencji Fińskiej.
IV
Konferencja została zaprojektowana i zrealizowana w ramach współpracy 6 instytucji:
Prezydencji Fińskiej, Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa WyŜszego, Ambasady Fińskiej w Polsce, Reprezentacji Komisji Europejskiej w Polsce, Ministerstwa Spraw Zagranicznych, Ministerstwa Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego oraz WyŜszej Szkoły Biznesu – National Louis University.
