Prof. Daniela Bognolo, etnolog i badacz w 1'1 MAF (In
stytucie Kultur Afrykańskich w CNRS w Paryżu); czło
nek Komitetu Naukowego Fundacji Kultury „Muzeum Barbier-Mueller" w Genewie oraz członek Rady Admi
nistracyjnej Stowarzyszenia Afrykanistów w Paryżu.
Specjalista religioznawstwa oraz antropologii sztuki, od 1979 roku prowadzi badania terenowe wśród populacji Lobi i Gan w Burkina Faso, a od 2007 również wśród populacji Toussain i grup z nią spokrewnionych. Jej ba
dania dotyczą praktyk rytualnych tworzących pamięć zbiorową. W szczególności chodzi o uwarunkowania wpływające na powstawanie artefaktów kultury mate
rialnej oraz ich oryginalnej estetyki niosącej znaczenie w wymiarze przestrzennym, temporalnym, społecznym
i indywidualnym.
Prof. Daniela Bognolo is an ethnologist and researcher at I'lMAF (the Institute of African Cultures at CNRS, Paris);
a member of the scientific committee of the'Barbier-Mueller Museum' Cultural Foundation, Geneva; as well as a member of the Administrative Council of the Society of Specialists on Africa, Paris. An expert on religious studies and the an
thropology of art, she has been conducting field research since 1979 among the Lobi and Gan peoples in Burkina Faso and, since 2007, among the Toussain people and their related groups. Her research concerns the ritual practices which create collective memory, more precisely the rules and factors which comprise the basis for the establishment of various means of material culture. It also focuses on the consideration the aesthetics of such artifacts in order to extract a certain and directly recognizable significance. lickim Uniwersytecie Lubelskim (doktorat w 2002 roku), w School of Oriental and African Studies w Londynie oraz w Centre for the Study of Islam and Christian-Muslim Relations, Uniwersytet w Birmingham (M.A. in Islamie Studies w 1999 roku). Od 2003 roku jest wykładowcą w Instytucie Teologii Fundamentalnej Katolickiego Uni
wersytetu Lubelskiego. Jego zainteresowania naukowe skupiają się na badaniu rozwoju chrześcijaństwa w za
chodniej Afryce (zwłaszcza w Ghanie, gdzie przebywał w latach 1988-1990,2002,2006), kontaktów międzyre- Iigijnych w tym regionie i na świecie, historii i współcze
snego stanu kontaktów chrześcijańsko-muzułmańskich.
Jest członkiem ścisłego grona redakcyjnego w między
narodowym projekcie Bibliographical History of Chri
stian-Muslim Relations, 1500-1900, którym kieruje prof.
David R. Thomas. Opublikował m.in. Chrystologia afry
kańska. W rodzimym kontekście kulturowym (Lublin 2005) i współredagował Religion, Ethnicity and Transnational Migration between West Africa and Europe (Leiden 2014) z Giną Gertrud Smith. Jest autorem kilkudziesięciu ar
tykułów naukowych z zakresu religioznawstwa w języku polskim i angielskim w pracach zbiorowych i czasopi
smach naukowych.
Mgr Edyta Lubińska, doktorantka w Instytucie Studiów Międzykulturowych na Wydziale Studiów Międzyna
rodowych i Politycznych Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskie
go w Krakowie oraz doktorantka w Instytucie Etnologii i Antropologii Kulturowej na Wydziale Historycznym Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Jej zainteresowania badawcze koncentrują się wokół społeczności Zande z Republiki Środkowoafrykańskiej. Przeprowadziła na terenie Zande Mbomou badania terenowe (9 miesięcy).
Interesuje się również sztuką afrykańską. Jest członkinią Polskiego Towarzystwa Afrykanistycznego oraz członki
nią Centrum Studiów Archeologii Afrykańskiej (CSAA) w Mediolanie. Jest również założycielką Towarzystwa Kulturowego EIFA. Przygotowała wystawę poświęconą afrykańskim przedmiotom magicznym: Małe. Ukryty świat

Dr. Stanisław Grodź, a member of the Divine Word Mis
sionaries (SVD), studied theology and religious stud
ies at the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL - Ph.D. in 2002), at the School of Oriental and African Studies, Lon
don and at the Centre for the Study of Islam and Christi
an-Muslim Relations, University of Birmingham (M.A. in Islamic Studies - 1999). His academic interests focus on the development of Christianity in West Africa (especially in Ghana where he stayed in 1988-1990, 2002, 2006), interreligious relations in that region and also worldwide, the history and the present of Christian-Muslim relations.
He is a staff member of the Institute of Fundamental Theo
logy at the John Pauli II Catholic University of Lublin(KUL) and since 2012 an editorial core team member of an inter
national project Bibliographical History of Christian-Muslim Relations, 1500-1900 directed by prof. David R. Thomas.
He published Afrykańska chrystologia w rodzimym kontekście kulturowym (Lublin, 2005), and co-edited a few academic books, including Religion, Ethnicity and Transnational Migra
tion between West Africa and Europe (Leiden, 2014) with G.G. Smith. He is also the author of several dozens of aca
demic papers in the field of the study of religion in Polish and English in academic journals and edited books.
Edyta Lubińska MA, is a PhD candidate in the Institute of Intercutural Studies, Faculty of International and Political Studies, Jagiellonian University in Kraków and a PhD can
didate in Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Antropology of Faculty of History of University of Warsaw. Her aca
demic interests focus on African art and Zande community from CAR. She carried out fieldwork (9 months) in Cent
ral African Republic in Mbomou Zande community. She is member of the Polish Association of African Studies as well as member of Center for the Study of African Archeology (CSAA) in Milan. She is the founder of the Cultural
Asso-Afryki w Bibliotece Jagiellońskiej w Krakowie (10 maja - 2 czerwca 2016).

storii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Tytuł dokto
ra oraz doktora habilitowanego uzyskała w Uniwersyte
cie Łódzkim. Od 1994 roku pracuje w Katedrze Histo
rii Sztuki Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego. Współzałożycielka i członek Zarządu - pełnomocnik ds. badań nad sztuką Afryki - Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Sztuki Orientu (od 2011 roku Polskiego Instytutu Studiów nad Sztuką Świa
ta) oraz członek Polskiego Towarzystwa Afrykanistycz- nego i Łódzkiego Towarzystwa Naukowego. W latach 2001-2004 mieszkała w Johannesburgu w Republice Południowej Afryki. Autorka trzech książek: ProArte. Mo

Dr. hab. Aneta Pawłowska, a graduate of the I nstitute of Art History at the University of Warsaw. She obtained her PhD and post-doctoral degree at the University of Łódź in whose Department of the History of Art she currently works. She is a co-founder and Management Board Member (repres
entative for research on African art) of the Polish Society of Oriental Art (since 2011 of the Polish Institute of World Art Studies), as well as a member of the Polish Association of African Studies and the Łódź Scientific Society. Having lived in Johannesburg, South Africa, she is the author of three books, namely: Pro Arte. Monografagrupywarszawskich artys
