Rozprawa doktorska dotyczy zagadnień sterowania systemami grzewczymi.
THE CONTROL METHODS OF THE DISTRIBUTED HEATING SYSTEMS
The dissertation is concentrated on issues of control of heating systems. One described an analysis of coordination of activities of two sources of thermal energy - district heating system and the installation of the biomass boiler. In the dissertation one proposed a model of the heating system, which includes elements, such as biomass combustion, warming up the boiler, accumulation tank, heat exchangers, building and radiators. The models are presented in three forms: analytical, simulation and analogous. Analytical models are the systems of the differential equations for the individual components of the heating system, simulation models have been implemented in MATLAB/Simulink, while the analogous models are the electrical schemes corresponding static and dynamic properties of the analytical model. The Author proposed his own model of the biomass combustion process in boiler, which is based on the idea that fuel burning rate is proportional to the current burning surface of the fuel and the air supply. In the dissertation one proposed a three-layer control system including a master control, stabilizing control and local control. Master control is to develop a setpoint for the room temperature, stabilizing control is to keep the room temperature at setpoint, while local control is used to improve the dynamics keep up with the rapid change of the setpoint. In the dissertation, among other things, one determined local control, which is formulated in the form of the optimization problem. The result of this optimization is the fuel batch mass and its ignition time.
