Instruction for authors

Articles which are to be published in M a n a geria l Econom ics should be prepared according to the follow ing guidelines.

Length o f the paper should not exceed 22.000 characters (figures and tables included).

The running text o f the body o f the paper should be follow ed by figures and tables. In the main text the authors should indicate places where each table/ figure should appear.

Title page should include a footnote, giving the author’s affiliation.

Figures must be prepared in a form suitable for direct reproduction. Digital artwork at least 300 dpi resolution is accepted. Photographs, on glossy paper (9 by 13 cm or larger), should display sharp contrast. Figures, tables and pho­ tographs should be numbered according to their reference in text.

Illustrations should be edited in CorelDraw (*.CDR), DrawPerfect (*.W PG ) or in any other vector graphics form e.g. HPGL, Encapsulated PostScript (*.EPS), Computer Graphics Metafile *.CGM) or bitmaps (*.TTF, *.PCX).

Mathematical equations within the text should be written in separate lines, num­ bered consecutively (numbers within round brackets) on the right-hand side. Greek characters must be written out clearly.

Summary (n o more than 300 words, in English) and keywords should be sub­ mitted in separate file containing the name o f the author, title o f the paper with the heading “Summary”.

Authors using W ord are requested to employ, as far as possible, text form o f mathematical symbols leaving graphic form for the equations lon ger than sin­ gle line.

R eference style

In general, the authors should use the Harvard style o f referencing. Refer­ ences to literature within the text should be given in the form: the name o f the author(s) and the year o f publication (in parentheses), e.g. “Smith (1990) un­ derlines...” , “As shown in Smith (1990)...” . In case o f more than two authors o f the cited publication the “et al.” shortcut should be used.

Lists o f references should be written in alphabetical-chronological order, num­ bered and fo llow the rules:
