Praca proponuje nowe podejście do realizacji adaptacyjnej architektury SOA oparte na metodzie uczenia ze wzmocnieniem (ang. reinforcement learning). Podejście to umożliwia osiągnięcie reaktywnej, sterowanej celem adaptacji w dużych systemach korporacyjnych.
The thesis proposes a new approach to implementation of the Adaptive SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based on the reinforcement learning methods. The proposed approach allows to achieve reactive, goal-driven adaptation in large enterprise systems. Implementation of the architecture follows the standard MAPE (Monitoring, Analysis, Planning, Execution) adaptation pattern, in which the planning component is implemented by a reinforcement learning algorithm, whereas the analysis component uses a data stream clustering algorithm. An integral part of the thesis constitutes a mathematical model of the SOA systems, which defines requirements for the monitoring and management interfaces which have to be fulfilled in order to make possible adaptation of these systems by the proposed algorithms. The main advantage resulting from application of the reinforcement learning and data stream clustering algorithms to implementation of the Adaptive SOA is lack of the necessity of a knowledge base specification, which was imperative in to-date published approaches.
