In d ies er Beziehung, i s t ih m das B este u n s r e r Z e it in i h r e n u m fassendsten B e str e b u n g e n gelungen. S e in e S k iz z e n d e r fiir die S ä u le n h a lle des M us eums b e s tim m t e n W a n d g e m ä l d e w e r d e n v o n je dem K u n s t

D e r H e rb s t liegt in v o ll e r Keife dem ruhe v e r h e iss e n - den A b en d im S c h o o s s ; die e rp r o b te n K rie g e r k e h r e n h e i m , sie t r e t e n h i n t e r den W ip f e ln d e r , die F e r n e n u n d W e i l e n d e r G e s c h ic h t e u m g ren zen d en h e im a th l ic h c n B erge h e r v o r , v o n d e r K rä n z e w i n d e n d e n V ic to r ia u m s c h w e b t .
