In allen Ephem eridcn der Sonne, der Planeten und der F ix sterne sind die kurzperiodischen, von der Mondlänge abhängigen N utationsglieder weggelassen; doch bietet das Jahrbuch die Mög
lichkeit, auch diese weggelassenen Glieder zu berücksichtigen (s. Erläuterungen).
Der Inhalt des Jahrbuchs hat gegen das V orjah r keine w esent
lichen Änderungen erfahren.
B ezüglich der Zahlengrundlagen sei auf die im .Berliner Jahr
buch für 1916 gegebene D arstellung der »Grundbegriffe der Sphä
rischen Astronomie« hingewiesen.
Ein Teil der Angaben wurde seitens der Am erican Ephcmeris and Nautical A lm anac, W ashington, des N autical A lm anac Office, L o n don, und des Bureau des Longitudcs, Paris, zur V erfügung gestellt.
Die Schriftleitun g des Astronom ischen Jahrbuchs für 1939 lag in den H änden von P rof. Dr. K o h l; an den verschiedenen A rbeiten beteiligten sich außerdem die Herren Dr. M ü lle r , Dr. B a e h r und mehrere H ilfsarbeiter.
