Abstrakt Karta pracy ucznia będąca dodatkiem do pierwszego z dwóch scenariuszy z cyklu „Emergency”, przygotowanego do realizacji w trakcie 45-minutowej lekcji, której celem jest zapoznanie uczniów ze słownictwem i zwrotami związanymi z tematyką medyczną – szpitalem, operacjami, badaniami lekarskimi itp. Jest to podstawowy zasób słownictwa potrzebny do zrozumienia najbardziej typowych określeń medycznych czy wskazówek lekarza. Uczniowie zapoznają się z nowym słownictwem w pierwszych dwóch ćwiczeniach – uzupełniając zdania typowe dla wielu „szpitalnych” sytuacji podanymi zwrotami. W następnej części lekcji uczniowie łączą podane sformułowania z ich wyjaśnieniami. Ostatnia część poświęcona jest na wykorzystanie poznanej wiedzy w praktyce – poprzez tworzenie dialogów pasujących do załączonych zdjęć obrazujących typowe spotkania lekarza z pacjentem.
