Example: I go to the greengrocer’s.
I go to the fruit & vegetables shop.
I go to the greengrocer’s once in a blue moon. I don’t like going there because the shop assistant always screams blue murder at me & gives me a black look. What’s more he gives me as green as a grass cucumbers with his as black as coal hands.
That makes me see red. I don’t expect him to give me red carpet treatment or to treat me as blue blood but I would like to be treated according to a golden rule.
I told him about that and his face became as red as a cherry.
