DIFICULTAD, SUPERVIVENCIA Y GLORIA En el Apocalipsis, el evangelista Juan nos dice lo que podemos esperar como seguidores de Jesús resucitado: sufrimiento, perseverancia y un reino.
Aunque sólo llevamos ocho días de la celebración de nuestra cincuentena pascual, no podemos ignorar la angustia que pesa sobre nuestra vida cotidiana. La resurrección de Jesús no borra el sufrimiento propio, pero su glorioso triunfo sobre la muerte cultiva la resiliencia en nuestros corazones. Recordamos que Jesús no se escatimó a sí mismo, y pedimos por la fortaleza para resistir como él. Imitar a Cristo nos ayuda a crecer como miembros de la familia real de Dios.
Como amados ciudadanos del Reino de dios, reconocemos nuestro parentesco con todas las personas.
Pedro demuestra su preocupación por los demás al curar a las multitudes de personas rotas y que sufren. En el Evangelio, Tomás acepta su propia curación espiritual cuando Jesús le ayuda a creer. En tiempos de dificultad, supervivencia y gloria, tomemos prestada la declaración de fe de Tomás: “¡Señor mío y Dios mío!”

ORACIÓN DE LA SEMANA Domingo de la Divina Misericordia
Dios de eterna misericordia,
que reanimas la fe de este pueblo a ti consagrado con la celebración anual de las fiestas pascuales,
aumenta en nosotros los dones de tu gracia, para que todos comprendamos mejor la excelencia del Bautismo que nos ha purificado,
la grandeza del Espíritu que nos ha regenerado y el precio de la Sangre que nos ha redimido.
Por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, tu Hijo,
que vive y reina contigo en la unidad del Espíritu Santo y es Dios por los siglos de los siglos.

II NIEDZIELA WIELKANOCNA
Pokój budujemy w sobie i wokół siebie.
Jak radzić sobie z natłokiem negatywnych informacji.
Najważniejsze dla naszego systemu nerwowego jest to, by przerwać błędne koło napięcia i przestać się nakręcać. Jak radzić sobie z dużą ilością negatywnych informacji i zachować wewnętrzny spokój w obliczu spraw, na które nie mamy wpływu.
Pandemia koronawirusa nie skończyła się na dobre, a już zaczął się nowy kryzys - wojna na Ukrainie. W ostatnich latach dotarło do nas wiele negatywnych informacji. Jakie mogą być tego konsekwencje?
Kiedy otrzymujemy zbyt dużą ilość negatywnych informacji, nasz system nerwowy zostaje nadmiernie przeciążony. Trudniej nam zachować stabilność i spokój, ponieważ każda drobna sytuacja może być powodem wzrostu napięcia dla i tak już napiętego jak struna systemu nerwowego.
Negatywne informacje pobudzają lęk i niepokój. Nasz organizm wchodzi w stan stresu, co powoduje, że w mózgu wytwarzany jest kortyzol. Ma on spowodować podjęcie działań, które będą odpowiedzią na zagrożenie i dadzą poczucie bezpieczeństwa.
Problem polega na tym, że kiedy słyszymy dużo negatywnych informacji o wojnie, oczywiste jest, że nie możemy podjąć działań, które mogłoby ją zakończyć; nie możemy więc wyłączyć stresu w naszym organizmie. W konsekwencji jeszcze bardziej podnosi się w nas poziom lęku, niepokoju i napięcia. Pojawia się poczucie bezradności i bezsilności, którego nie znosimy. Na skutek długotrwałego działania kortyzolu nasze funkcje poznawcze ulegają uszkodzeniu, zaczynają się problemy w relacjach, stajemy się zirytowani, mówimy przykre rzeczy, podnosimy głos, wiele rzeczy nas złości i w konsekwencji jesteśmy coraz bardziej niemili dla naszych bliskich. To "diabelskie koło". Krzycząc na bliskich, czujemy się winni. A kiedy oni odpowiadają i mówią, że jesteśmy okropni, nasz lęk jeszcze bardziej się wzmaga - rośnie ryzyko odrzucenia, utraty bliskości i akceptacji.
A jeśli pozostajemy w takim stanie przez dłuższy czas?
Może pojawić się w nas poczucie bezsilności, zniechęcenia oraz braku wpływu na własne życie. Sporo osób ulega myśli:
Dlaczego mam coś robić, skoro za chwilę i tak świat się skończy?.
Wielu ludzi żyje obecnie w rozdrażnieniu i napięciu - z jednej strony wszystko ich denerwuje i szukają winnych, z drugiej strony sami pozbawiają się sił - trudno jest im zadbać o siebie, gdyż są w ciągłym napięciu. Pułapka napięcia powoduje pewnego rodzaju zatrzymanie i zamrożenie; w relacjach pojawia się coraz więcej chłodu i oddalenia. Może pojawiać się podwójne zniechęcenie: Nic nie ma sensu, a moi najbliżsi nie potrafią nawet włożyć kubka do zmywarki. Trudno jest działać, gdy ma się poczucie, że inni nie współpracują.
Próbujemy rozmawiać z innymi o tym, co się dzieje, myśląc, że to nas uspokoi. A dzieje się odwrotnie. Do niedawna w naszych rozmowach spotykaliśmy ekspertów z zakresu wirusologii i medycyny, teraz z kolei pojawiają specjaliści od taktyki wojennej i zaburzeń psychicznych. Często słyszę, że Putin jest nienormalny, zaburzony i chory. Zastanawiamy się, co ten człowiek robi, próbujemy odgadnąć jego motywację. Im dłużej rozmawiamy, tym więcej wymyślamy niestworzonych historii i niepotrzebnie się nakręcamy, podnosząc poziom napięcia u siebie i u rozmówcy. To nas szalenie osłabia, wbija w poczucie bezsilności.
Jak to zmienić?
Poprzez podjęcie działań, które są w strefie naszego wpływu. Po pierwsze przestańmy rozmawiać o trudnych wydarzeniach, których i tak nie możemy zmienić - one i tak się wydarzają, niezależnie od tego, czy o nich mówimy czy nie. Po drugie spróbujmy przestać sprawdzać, co się dzieje.
Dlaczego wewnętrzny pokój jest ważny?
Im bardziej będziemy spokojni, tym więcej spokoju damy swoim bliskim. W efekcie nasze rodziny i współpracownicy również będą bardziej spokojni.
Na budowanie spokoju wpływają pozytywne informacje oraz poczucie sprawczości i wpływu. Zadbałam dzisiaj o coś konkretnego na rzecz pokoju - w sobie i wokół siebie. Tyle mogłam zrobić. Wojny i tak nie mogę zatrzymać".

who in the very recurrence of the paschal feast kindle the faith of the people you have made your own,
increase, we pray, the grace you have bestowed, that all may grasp and rightly understand
in what font they have been washed, by whose Spirit they have been reborn, by whose Blood they have been redeemed.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.

DIFFICULTY, SURVIVAL, AND GLORY
In Revelation, John the Evangelist tells us what we can expect as followers of the risen Jesus: distress, endurance, and a kingdom. Although we are only eight days into our fifty-day Easter feasting, we cannot ignore the distress weighing down our daily lives.
Jesus’ resurrection does not erase individual suffering, but his glorious triumph over death cultivates endurance in our hearts. We remember that Jesus did not spare himself, and we ask for the strength to endure as he did. Imitating Christ helps us grow as members of God’s royal family. As beloved citizens of the Kingdom of God, we recognize our kinship with all people. Peter demonstrates his care for others as he heals multitudes of broken,
suffering people. In the Gospel, Thomas accepts his own spiritual healing when Jesus helps him to believe. In times of difficulty, survival, and glory, we borrow Thomas’
declaration of faith: “My Lord and my God!”
