CATECHETICAL SUNDAY as opportunity to highlight the ministry of catechesis and to call forth and affirm the many people called to serve in this ministry. This year, Cateche"cal Sunday takes place on September 19, 2021, with the theme of “Say the Word and My Soul Shall Be Healed”—
words drawn from the prayer we say just before coming forward to receive the Eucharist that are, in turn, inspired by Ma#hew 8:8, when the
centurion replies to Jesus’ offer to heal his servant by saying, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my servant will be healed.”
We live in a world in desperate need of healing. Every one of us is wounded in some way and in need of healing that can only come from divine interven"on—the amazing grace of God that comes to us in Jesus
Christ through the Holy Spirit. Catechists proclaim the Good News that Jesus is with us to heal our brokenness. Through catechesis, we aim to invite others to receive the healing grace of Jesus in their lives and to bring that healing to the world. May this year be a year of healing for you, for those you teach, and for the world! (From Loyola Press)

Każdego roku, w trzecią niedzielę września, Kościół obchodzi NIEDZIELĘ KATECHETYCZNĄ, która jest okazją do podkreślenia posługi katechetycznej
oraz do przywołania i potwierdzenia wielu osób powołanych do służby w tej posłudze.
W tym roku Niedziela Katechetyczna przypada na 19 września 2021 roku, a jej temat brzmi: "Powiedz tylko słowo, a będzie uzdrowiona dusza moja" - słowa zaczerpnięte z modlitwy, którą odmawiamy tuż przed przystąpieniem do Eucharys'i, które z kolei są inspirowane Ewangelią Mateusza 8:8, kiedy setnik odpowiada na propozycję Jezusa, by uzdrowił jego sługę, mówiąc: "Panie, nie jestem godzien, abyś wszedł pod dach mój; powiedz tylko słowo, a będzie uzdrowiony mój sługa".
Żyjemy w świecie, który rozpaczliwie potrzebuje uzdrowienia. Każdy z nas jest w jakiś sposób zraniony i potrzebuje uzdrowienia, które może przyjść tylko dzięki Bożej interwencji - niesamowitej łasce Boga, która przychodzi do nas w Jezusie Chrystusie przez Ducha Świętego.
Katecheci głoszą Dobrą Nowinę, że Jezus jest z nami, aby uzdrowić nasze problemy.
Poprzez katechezę chcemy zaprosić innych do przyjęcia uzdrawiającej łaski Jezusa w swoim życiu i do niesienia tego uzdrowienia światu. Niech ten rok będzie rokiem
uzdrowienia dla tych, którzy uczą i dla świata!

What does it mean to be God’s servant? In essence, it means being willing to call the world back to its childlike innocence, showing all that a joy-filled playfulness has a place in life. The servant of God serves to foster the Kingdom of God. God’s kingdom is not a sterile, unhappy, strict, and rigid reality. It is quite the opposite. It is a kingdom devoid of jealousy and selfish ambi"on where peace, gentleness, mercy, and good works abound. To be a servant of this kingdom means that selfish ambi"on must be set aside so that others can be first, and jus"ce pursued at all cost. The prayer of this kind of servant is not focused on self-
advancement or need. Rather, the servant’s prayer seeks to detach from self-concern in order to be used by God. In this way, we who are servants can be inspired, guided, empowered, and led by God. We can then be used to lay the cornerstones of the kingdom: faith, hope, and love. It is upon these that God’s firm dwelling is built. ŻYĆ LITURGIĄ - INSPIRACJA NA TYDZIEŃ
Co to znaczy być sługą Bożym? W gruncie rzeczy oznacza to gotowość do przywrócenia światu jego dziecięcej niewinności, pokazując wszystkim, że w życiu jest miejsce na pełną radości zabawę. Sługa Boży służy
budowaniu Królestwa Bożego. Królestwo Boże nie jest rzeczywistością sterylną, nieszczęśliwą, surową i sztywną. Jest wręcz przeciwnie. Jest to królestwo pozbawione zazdrości i egoistycznych ambicji, w którym panuje pokój, łagodność, miłosierdzie i dobre uczynki. Bycie sługą tego królestwa oznacza, że egoistyczne ambicje muszą być odłożone na bok, aby inni mogli być pierwsi, i by walczyć o sprawiedliwość za wszelką cenę. Modlitwa tego rodzaju sługi nie skupia się na własnej korzyści czy potrzebie. Modlitwa sługi stara się raczej oderwać od troski o siebie, aby Bóg mógł się nią posługiwać. W ten sposób my, którzy jesteśmy
sługami, możemy być inspirowani, kierowani, umacniani i prowadzeni przez Boga. W ten sposób możemy być używani do kładzenia kamieni węgielnych królestwa: wiary, nadziei i miłości. To właśnie na nich budowane jest mocne mieszkanie Boga. Przyjęcie tego wezwania może sprawić, że w oczach świata będziemy na ostatnim miejscu, ale w oczach Boga będziemy pierwsi. @ Lpi
