D ie E i n f u h r s t e i g e r u n g u m 30 P r o z e n t b e ru h t nun a lle rd in g s zu e in e m D r it t e l a u f e in e r E r h ö h u n g d e r E i n f u h r p r e i s e , die im D u rc h s c h n itt des J a h re s 1937 a u f den W e ltm ä r k te n e in g e tre te n is t. D ie re in m engenm äß ige V e rs o r
gung d e r deu tsch e n W ir ts c h a ft m it a u s lä nd isch e n G ü te rn is t also n ic h t in g le ic h e m M a ß e w ie d e r W e r t d e r E in fu h r gew achsen.
U n d auch in s o w e it w a r no ch d ie E n tw ic k lu n g u n g le ic h , als de r g rö ß te T e il d e r Z un a h m e a u f d ie L e b e n s m itte l e n tfä llt, vo n denen 27 P ro z e n t m e h r als im V o rja h r e in g e fü h rt w u rd e n , F ü r R o h s t o f f e a l l e i n b e l ä u f t s i c h d e r Z u w a c h s n u r a u f 15 P r o z e n t . D e r W e r t d e r E i n f u h r v o n G u m m iro h s to ffe n is t noch w e s e n tlic h m e h r gestiegen als d ie E in fu h rm e n g e , n ä m lic h vo n 66,2 a u f 117,5 M ill, R M o d e r um 77 P ro z e n t. D ie s b e ru h t auf den g e w a ltig e n P re is e rh ö h u n g e n , d ie d e r R o h k a u ts c h u k e rn e u t im le tz te n J a h re e rfa h re n h a t. D e r P re is fü r K a u ts c h u k (pl, sm oked sheets L o n d o n ) h a tte b is auf 131,74 R M je 100 k g im D u rc h s c h n itt des M o n a t M ä rz 1937 angezogen, u m d ann a lle rd in g s w ie d e r b is a u f 80,50 R M im N o v e m b e r zu s in k e n .
