Dieser Lageplan gewinnt Bedeutung durch einen neuartigen Lösungsversuch fü r die Bebauung des spitzen W inkels zwi
schen zwei verkehrswichtigen Straßen. Die Zwangsvorstellung in falsch verstandener Nachfolge Sitte's, überall m öglichst -vinmetrisch angeordnete „Platzgestaltung“ erzwingen zu müssen, weicht einer den V erkehrserfordernissen sich ge
schmeidig anpassenden rhythmischen B aulinienführung und Massengestaltung, die das Auge gew iß nicht w eniger an- zieht und befriedigt.

— der Aufgabe in Breslau ähnlich. Das eigentliche Problem wird von keinem der Preisträger — au ß er vielleicht von G orge — wie in Breslau angefaßt; es sind teilweise Anwendungen Sittc’scher Lehren anf ein.e andere Aufgabe. Die 1. E hrenpreise arbeiten noch zu
meist mit symmetrischer Konkavität. Die lohenden Anerkennungen treiben schon einen Massekeil in den spitzen W inkel vor — ein Ü bergang zu den B reslauer Lösungen. — G o r g e ' s E n t w u r f erscheint uns als der s t ä d t e b a u l i c h a u s f ü h r b a r e , sobald
