In früheren normalen Zeiten hat die deutsche Waschmit
telindustrie der Hausfrau manchen guten Rat gegeben.
Und wer sich hat raten las
sen, der hat gewiß guten Nutzen davon gehabt. Heute sind diese Ratschläge von weit größerer Bedeutung, ja, sie sind Gebot geworden. Jede Hausfrau, die ihre Pflicht er

Falsch ist es zwischen den einzelnen Wäschen die Kleidungsstücke a ll
zu lfnge zu tragen je stärker der Schmutz, desto schwerer ist er zu entfernen Starker Schmutz verleitet zu leicht dazu, daß man ieibt und bürste” was aber gerade für alle Feinwäsche äußerste Gefahr bedeutet.
Falsch ist es farbige Knöpfe, mit Stoff überzogene Metallknöpfe Schnallen und ’ dergleichen an den Kleidungsstücken zu belassen. Sie könnten in der Wäsche Farbe abgeben oder Rostflecke verursachen. Rieh- Hg ist e“ Schnallen und farbige Knöpfe vor der Wäsche abzutrennen.
Falsch ist es Gewirke und Gewebe zu reiben oder zu wringen. Hierbei entstehen* F Ä , bei schweren Schädigungen Löcher im Gewebe Wollene Sachen verfilzen durch Reiben, sie verlieren ihren lockeren Charakter und ihre Paßform.
Falsch ist es empfindliche farbige Wäschestücke ohne Essigzusatz zu waschen oder’ zu spülen. Richtig ist es, sowohl dem Waschbade wie auch dein Spülbade etwas Essig zuzugeben: denn Essig festigt die Far
ben und verhütet das Aus- und Ineinanderlaufen.
Falsch ist es bunte Wäschestücke naß aufeinander liegen zu lassen, vfe färben dann leicht ab. Richtig ist es, jedes Wäschestück in ein Frottierhandtuch zu rollen, die überschüssige Feiichtigkeit ™ und nach dem Ausrollen unter Vermeidung von Ofen- und Sonnenhitze ausgebreitet zu trocknen. Sachen, die leicht die Form ve^ 1|^ . n'.et[n°ecknet man stets auf einem sauberen Tuch und nicht »uf der Wäscheleine.
Falsch ist es farbige Wäsche zu warm zu waschen, Echtfarbige Wäsche- slücke kann man handwarm (bis zu 36 Grad Celsius) waschen; Wolle und farbempfindliche Sachen wäscht man kalt.
Falsch ist es, Wäsche und Kleidungsstücke mit zu heißem Eisen zu bügeln. Das Eisen soll stets nur mäßig warm sein, und in ledern Falle ist von links zu bügeln.
